Wards

What’s
it all about?
Going Cell-Based: The 33AD Salvos met frequently in home
groups that were the building block of the Kingdom. An
explosive, multiplying system of cells was and
remains the key to
winning the world for Jesus. Wesley called them class
meetings. The primitive Salvation Army called them wards, and
developed an effective ward system to facilitate the
accomplishment of mission. Wards are the Army 'prequel' to
cells. If we an re-establish an effective ward system, no
matter what we call it, we have a firm foundation on which to
build the Kingdom in our district. This is what Captain Cathi
Kennelly has done at her Corps, and this is what she teaches
us.
